Casting call - Diverse multilingual cast

The film being intersectional, I am looking for a cast as diverse as possible!
Unheard is also a multilingual project so please specify in your application what is your native language and what other languages you can speak at a fluent level (C1 is appreciated). This cast call is directed to people of any gender, ethnicity, skin color, disability, religion, age, size, etc… We are all in this together and we are stronger together.

A few specifics for the survivors: TW: RAPE - Mia: White woman age 24-28
She struggles to accept she had been raped, but when she finally accepts the hard truth, she start sharing her story to realize that the only people actually ready to listen to her are other rape survivors.

 - Ophelia: Black woman, any age.
She is living with her boyfriend who is angry at her after she had shared her traumatic experience with him. She is ashamed to have trusted her former friend that night when he raped her, and she was hoping for her boyfriend to be more empathetic.

 - Naomi: Woman age 30-40 any ethnicity,
She is a sex worker. Naomi went immediately to report that she has been assaulted by a client, but the police officer who has to fill-in the report thinks it is all a big joke, laughing at her face. She is regretting going to the police because who would ever believe a sex worker that has been raped? - Tammy: Trans woman or non-binary (preferably around 20yo), any ethnicity.
Tammy is a young trans girl/ non binary person and she is/they are discussing with her/their mum whether she/they should report a sexual assault. She is/they are angry at her/their mum for not being supportive but also she/they are just tired of arguing. -
Elly: “fat” girl: any age, any size, any ethnicity.
Elly is an empowered woman who is not ashamed of her body, while the whole word thinks she should hide herself, wear less revealing clothes and go on a diet. Even her friend apparently thinks so, as she points out that no men has shown interest in her for a long time as if she should be grateful at least her abuser found her attractive.

 - Sophie: Disabled woman any age, any ethnicity, (any disability). Sophie is fighting everyday to be treated just like any other of her friends, while she encounters on a daily basis people that talks to her like a child or that constantly pity her for her disability. She has finally found someone who she can trust to talk to about her experiences with sexual abuse, but she is not expecting her friend to try to convince her of the positive side of it: that someone found her disabled body attractive for once. - Buddy: young male, preferably age 18-20, any ethnicity Buddy has been assaulted by a girl, whom he had confided that he was questioning his sexuality, so she wanted to “prove” him that he was in fact straight. He is very ashamed of it and casually opens the conversation about male-rape with a good friend of his. His friend though, goes on and on on how men can’t be raped so he just gives up without really sharing his story.
 - Grace: old woman (age 65 or more) any ethnicity Grace is a survivor that has experienced rape at an older age. She is reading newspaper articles where rape is glamorized and the rapists described either as saints that are “ruined” by the women calling them out, or as un-relatable mythological monsters. She is bitter but not surprised by the headlines. Grace knows perfectly well that rape has nothing to do with sexual attraction but just power play.

 Other Characters:
 - The Boyfriend: White, male, +-30 year old
He is angry at his girlfriend for going out with that friend he always warned her about. He feels betrayed as he believes she put herself voluntarily into an almost-cheating situation.
 - Policeman: White, male, +-50 year old He is annoyed to having to be at the station to take a sexual assault report from a prostitute but also amused by the audacity of the woman. He thinks she will just do anything to get some extra money. Even if he believed her, he thinks that it’s normal that men will take advantage of someone dressed like this, he would maybe too.
 - The mother: White, woman, 45 - 50 year old She doesn’t understand the gravity of the situation her daughter/child is trying to explain to her. She believes that there are some people who use rape allegations out of spite or revenge or to gain 15 minutes of popularity so she agrees that the terms for filing a rape report should be short, so that only the “real” victims who have proofs would actually do it.
 - Friend: White, woman, 25- 28 year old The idea that sex without consent is rape sounds weird to her. She feels like the #metoo movement is just a trend and something you use to get more likes on instagram but that most of the allegations made on social media are probably fake.
 - Friend 2: White, male +-20 year old He has absorbed all the lies of toxic masculinity, he thinks that men should not show too many emotions or seek for human contact outside sex. He calls slurs the other boys that according to him are “too fem”, he objectifies women and thinks that guys should always be ready to take advantage of a situation, never denying sex as it is not in their nature.
 - Tv presenter: White, male, 60 year old He only cares for views. That is why he talks about the most sensational rape cases and romanticizing them in his show. He invites the survivors to his shows as guest only to make more view and to publicly humiliate them asking them pointless questions that hint a not-so-subtle victim blaming on his part.

Fulltime administratieve productie-assistent

We groeien hard, dus echt elke dag is anders.
