Your room for creativity
As a team, we deliver mobile-first video journeys with impact and results. At FJ, you as Head of Production are responsible for overseeing all smart & kick ass video productions.
You are the first point of contact for the production team and you also help to challenge them in the field of personal growth & development! In this way, you are the crucial connection between the operational director and the production team, but you also implement changes that are driven by the management.
We expect you to have a good helicopter view and to be able to oversee all projects. In the field of (video) strategy and video and animation productions, you have the necessary experience to independently lead the operation on a daily basis. You are proactive at work and you understand where processes can be more efficient, so you ensure that the quality of our output remains high and the fast-moving train we are on continues to run.
Of course, you will not do this alone, but in collaboration with your in-house production team consisting of producers, creative, director, DOP, motion graphic designer, editor, video strategists and social advertising specialist. Your clear way of communicating helps the team along in the changes we are going through and you motivate them to solve sometimes complex production problems.
You take the lead in the weekly project meeting and report directly to the operating director. You manage the finances of productions, collaboration agreements and oversee the total planning to make decisions based on the available team capacity. You are able to scale up the team and know how to connect suitable external specialists to FJ who fit within our culture and have the right skills.
At FJ, magic is created when we merge our smart & kick ass disciplines. To achieve this, both our digital team and the production team must work closely together to achieve a successful end product. You also know how to ensure that the entire team (8 FTE) continues to communicate with each other during busy periods.
