Primary Purpose Of The Role
To learn and observe the ins and outs of a communication and production company.
If the main focus of the study is Production, one of the staff producers will show and mentor in various matters such as film making, managing budgets and client management.
An overview might include:
• How to give support and coordination to the Producers across al aspects of a film project. This involves working closely with the team, the preparation and maintenance of specific control documentation such as schedules, call sheets, budgets and reporting on production progress as required.
• To assist the Producers with the planning and preperation of projects, produce documentation as requires (e.g. Call Sheets); attend project meetings; be involved in meetings with creatives/writers/directors and making notes at all times.
• Working on a project from start to finish, including being on the set during a shoot as well as helping out with post-production.
• General office support.
