The Study Road
Independent filmer / documentary maker
We are looking for a student or adventurer to join us during The Study Road, cycling all the way from Istanbul to Beijng. We have several ideas that we are working out with a professional documentary maker. He will be your coach during these months and join the route about once a month to cycle along for about 10 days per country.
So what we need is someone very independent, with own ideas and interview skills. It means to be part of a group, a challenging environment and also to not be part of this group but to step out of it and ask the right questions at the right time.
Imagine this: you are cycling through the mountains of Uzbekistan, it is hot, it is far, but it is great, the view, the people you meet, the group, your buddy (bike), the students at the universities, the challenge. At night you get to the night camp and check the footage of that day, the interviews of people that were tired, the interviews of people celebrating climbing that mountain, an interview with local people about their breakfast habits, etc.
