Looking for performers for MYOGRAPHY at de appel arts centre
dear friends
for "myography" - my upcoming show at de Appel - I still need several performers. There are no special skills required just some concentration and dedication to pick up some very basic moves. The performances will take care in public space around De Appel and are an extension of my sculptural work inside.

6th of July performances 15:00 - 18:30

I need the performers to be there 15 minutes before we start on both dates. They should wear neutral clothes, like jeans t-shirts and sneakers or black or white shoes if possible.
myography is a performance where 50 m of PVC film are unrolled from a car in public space around de Apple. The film is a sort of elongation of the sculptures on display in my solo show on the 4th floor. The performers one by one unravel the material from a car that suddenly stops at the bus stop by slipping under the material and starting to walk like in a chinese dragon dance.
The public only sees the legs and feet of the performers that then start walking a short route in public space to end up back in front of de appel and disappear around a corner.

I can pay a fee of 10 EUR/hour for this. Looking forward and let me know if you definitely can and want to do it. Also if you know anyone else please let me know i am looking for 3 more people (plus one person with a driving license)
