Looking for performers for artists video
The video consist of between 8-10 performers lying on the ground amongst various objects, with different elements such as water dripping, paper blowing and lights shining on the scene as the camera moves around above and alongside the performers. Some of these performers will be reciting dialogue in a very sterile and dry way, rather like describing instructions to themselves, while others will be acting as if the air is not suitable for breathing and therefore breathing heavily, or making very small gestures. The dialogue will be visible, but the sound will be replaced with a single voice (with electronic tuning) to make it appear as there is a kind of process of translating the words directly into information. There will also be a small element of nudity for 2 of the performers, in a kind of non-erotic half-dressed embrace. The video is being produced as part of an exhibition in Amsterdam for later this year.
I can pay 50 Euros for the day's work. Auditions will be held all day on the 12th July in the central/eastern area of Amsterdam. If you have any further questions please do contact me.
