CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS Sailing with the Lovis: 4th – 11th of September 2009, from Bremerhaven to Hamburg International Short Film organization Moviemiento/Berlin sails together with former project partners (Poland, Latvia and Estonia) and new NGO’s (Netherlands and possible other EU countries) from Bremerhaven to Hamburg. Program Each day will contain a two-hour workshop on a theme related to international media project management. The rest of the day will be filled with sailing, getting to know each other, cooking international dishes, spontaneous film screenings in the harbor, brainstorming about new projects etc. The Closing-Event will be an international film screening in the Hamburg Harbor - projected on the Lovis Sail, open to public. You Are you connected to a cultural/environmental/... NGO? Do you like to get in contact with other project leaders and multipliers from around the Baltic Sea and the Netherlands? Are you willing to share your experiences with the other participants on board? Then join us! Costs You only pay 30% of your travel costs from your home place to Bremerhaven, and then 30% of your travel costs from Hamburg back to your hometown (the other 70% are covered by EU). So travel, board and lodging costs during the sailing week are covered 100% by EU. What to do We like a balanced amount of countries on board (6 Polish, 6 Latvian, 6 Estonian, as well as other EU countries). Who comes first, first served. You want to join? Call for entry - Go Short Film Festival, Nijmegen

Go Short - International Short Film Festival Nijmegen is now open for submissions! Festival dates: March 17 - 21, 2010 (Entry form and regulations can be found on www.goshort.nl) The preparations for the second edition of the Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen have begun. We are now accepting submissions for the upcoming edition. All shorts completed after September 1, 2008 are eligible to compete in our competition programs (Student shorts completed after March 1, 2008). Competitions and awards The short films that will be selected for the fiction, documentary, animation or experimental competition will be eligible for the Go Short award for the best short in its genre. All the Dutch short will be eligible for the Go Short award for the best Dutch Short. All student films will be eligible for the Breaking Shorts award for the best European Student Short. All competition films will be eligible for the Go Short audience award which will be chosen by the audience at the Go Short festival.
