The Rutger Hauer Filmfactory in Rotterdam (18-28 June) announces the line-up of internationally acclaimed coaches and guest lecturers for its upcoming third edition.
Top directors PAUL VERHOEVEN and ROBERT RODRIGUEZ will be teaching virtual master classes via Skype. The internationally acclaimed Polish writer/director/artist LECH MAJEWSKI (BASQUIAT, THE GARDEN OF EARTHLY DELIGHTS) and the Peruvian director CLAUDIA LLOSA (Golden Bear for LA TETA ASUSTADA) have signed on to coach aspiring directors during the masterclass, alongside Rutger Hauer.
Belgian DP WALTHER VAN DEN ENDE (DAENS, NO MAN\'S LAND, JOYEUX NOËL) advises the selected DOPs. MARTEN RABARTS , artistic director at the Binger Filmlab and writer/director/producer SUSAN KORDA , who teaches at Columbia University in New York, will lead the creative team sessions.
These professional experts will provide creative leadership to thirty ambitious filmmakers, who will make 12 short films during the course of the master class. This year\'s participants include directors, producers, DOPs, editors and actors from all over the world: the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Greece, Israel, South Africa, Australia and Canada.
