Willem selectively grooms admiration from the vulnerable—particularly young women from disadvantaged backgrounds, masking his intentions behind mentorship and emotional intimacy. He is calculating but never overt, making the role one that demands emotional nuance, subtle menace, and restraint.
This is a complex and psychologically rich role, not a caricature of a villain, but a deeply human portrayal of charisma, damage, and moral decay. The actor must be comfortable navigating sensitive material with integrity and depth.
