For the Limburg game show Zoomer, we are looking for contestants, preferably from Limburg, who would like to appear on TV and play a fun game. Zoomer is broadcast every Tuesday and Thursday on TVEllef and is recorded in the studio in Linne (municipality of Maasgouw, near Roermond). If you are not from the Central Limburg region, that is fine. In that case, a small travel allowance can be discussed in advance. Please indicate this after you receive a potential invitation. The documentary KLANTREIS offers a revealing look behind the scenes of the Dutch civic integration process. Award-winning filmmaker Ton van Zantvoort (of SCHAPENHELD, among others) was granted unprecedented access to daily practices within municipalities, language institutions, and in the homes of newcomers. The film premieres on March 21 at Movies that Matter and will be showing nationwide in nearly 40 cinemas starting April 23. Without interviews or commentary, what normally remains hidden becomes visible. The impetus for the film was the Civic Integration Act 2021, under which municipalities became responsible for implementation. Van Zantvoort followed newcomers for two years through all the steps of their process and was also granted unique access to closed meetings of the municipality. The film shows the confusion of newcomers in a maze of rules where everything turns out to be 'important'. Van Zantvoort: “We have built a society that we ourselves barely understand anymore. How do you explain that to a newcomer?” Film as a starting point for national dialogue The documentary goes much further than just civic integration; the film touches upon societal themes such as housing, participation, and financial and social support. A nationwide tour of cinemas starts on April 23. To increase the impact, post-screening discussions will be organized with the audience, during which they will also go through their own interactive 'customer journey'. To enable a screening and dialogue in the local region, active interest from local parties is required. Municipalities, schools, housing associations, and social organizations are therefore encouraged to register without obligation via klantreisfilm.nl/#doe_mee. A screening in the local region can only be realized if there are sufficient registrations.

Wie voelt zich geroepen om het volgende idee op te pakken? Docu serie - Ik zweer trouw Hoe beschermen we degenen die ons beschermen? De fysieke, mentale én emotionele druk op de geüniformeerde is in deze tijd énorm (en soms te hoog). Volgens het veteraneninstituut heeft één op de vijf militairen zorg nodig na een uitzending. Ook in de andere hoog-risico beroepen zijn er veel psychische problemen. Zo heeft maar liefst twaalf procent van de ambulancemedewerkers last van PTSS. Bij de politie is dit zeven procent en bij de brandweer vijf procent. Recent heeft de politie nota bene een monument opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan politiemensen die door suïcide om het leven gekomen zijn. De docu serie “Ik zweer trouw” , naar het gelijknamige boek, legt het spanningsveld bloot van geüniformeerde in het trouw zijn aan het land en het trouw zijn aan zichzelf. DOEL VAN DE DOCU SERIE In de geüniformeerde beroepsgroepen is er een tekort aan personeel, is de werkdruk hoog en de uitstroom en uitval groot. De overheid doet er dan ook alles aan om nieuw personeel te werven. Maar wie kiest voor het uniform en waarom? In deze documentaire willen we inzichten geven in wat het (hele) verhaal is van de geüniformeerde die in de mentale problemen is gekomen. Wat kunnen we hiervan leren en hoe kan de overheid ervoor zorgen dat het belangrijke en risicovolle werk dat geüniformeerde voor ons doen, niet meer ten koste gaat van de (mentale) gezondheid van henzelf? De documentaire legt het spanningsveld van de geüniformeerde bloot in het trouw zijn aan het land en het trouw zijn aan zichzelf. OPZET VAN DE DOCU SERIE Aan het woord komen (voormalige) geüniformeerden die de relatie tussen hun mentale problemen en hun ongunstige jeugdervaringen onderschrijven. Gezondheidsprofessionals als (voormalig) psychiater Bram Bakker en Michiel van der Pols vragen we om toelichting. Maar ook voormalig Korpschef van politie Jos Tonino is interessant. Hij zette zich jaren in voor politiemensen met PTSS. Ook kunnen we selectiepsychologen van Defensie en politie interviewen en wellicht een aantal shooting maken van de selectie en opleiding van militairen. DE OORZAAK Hoewel de oorzaak van mentale klachten van geüniformeerde vaak toegeschreven wordt aan de heftige ervaringen op het werk, wordt tegenwoordig steeds meer duidelijk dat dit niet de volledige oorzaak is. Professionals op gebied van mentale gezondheid zien steeds meer dat het er niet om gaat WAT je meemaakt, maar HOE je erop reageert. De geüniformeerde die mentaal in de problemen komt, is veelal onvoldoende in staat gebleken om de heftige ervaringen op het werk goed te verwerken. Ze waren onvoldoende trouw aan zichzelf en dat heeft te maken met: 1. Onderliggend jeugdtrauma 2. Daardoor een blokkade hebben op het uiten van je emoties, gevoelens en eigen behoeftes 3. Onveiligheidsgevoel binnen de organisatie om je te kunnen uiten Er is een significante relatie gevonden tussen het ontwikkelen van mentale problemen als maturee en ongunstige jeugdervaringen (jeugdtrauma). Degenen die als kind al van alles hebben meegemaakt en vanuit die ervaringen kiezen voor het uniform, blijken gevoelig te zijn voor mentale problemen in het mature leven. Vooral in een geüniformeerd beroep.
