ScriptAcademy

Registration for the Screenwriting professional training is now open.

ScriptAcademy's two-year professional screenwriting course starts at the end of October. Led by various instructors from the field, you will learn all the ins and outs of this fantastic profession. You can register now! Screenwriting is a difficult, beautiful, and teachable craft with rules, preferences, and taste. You create drama, exploring how to deal with universally human dilemmas: growth, loss, relationships, betrayal, jealousy—in short, the furthest reaches of every human emotion and insight imaginable. Drama is life in a pressure cooker. As a screenwriter, you make this life visible and palpable. In ScriptAcademy’s professional training, you learn all aspects of screenwriting: how to structure the script, how to bring characters to life, and last but not least: what you have to say. Philip Delmaar, instructor, Golden Calf winner, and former ScriptAcademy student: “For me, ScriptAcademy was a springboard, partly because you end up in a group of like-minded people, people who approach life in the same way. The instructors provided a wealth of professional knowledge, and also helped me tap into my strengths: the fact that I am a screenwriter.” ScriptAcademy has been providing courses and a professional training program in screenwriting for nearly 25 years. Led by our permanent lecturers and a diverse range of guest lecturers, we offer a solid and up-to-date curriculum. You can register until August 1, 2026.
