Tip for documentary

I would like to suggest an interesting subject for a documentary: the Royal Netherlands Naval Institute (KIM) in Den Helder. This is the training institute for Dutch naval officers. To my knowledge, the KIM has never been portrayed well and objectively. I myself underwent training there from 1995 to 1999. Why is it interesting? - it is a closed and strictly hierarchical institution - first-year students are usually pre-university students of only 18 years old - the KIM is bursting with old customs and rituals (such as intense hazing) - students are trained under a strict regime - there is little room for individuality - it has a high level of haughtiness Our King, mind you, received training here for two years. There are plenty of stories to tell. I am convinced that you will be amazed at how a large group of young men and women are shaped (and indoctrinated) here to become naval officers. It is a unique, old-fashioned, and strict training institution. Especially in this time of major international tensions, it is interesting to see how the Dutch armed forces recruit, select, train, and shape future naval leaders (such as Rob Bauer).
