Actors wanted dfa short film!!

Hi everybody, I'm Michelle and I'm studying at the DFA in Eindhoven. This year we have to make a short film (10 min) and for my horror film I am still looking for a number of actors for the period from 1 to 7 March 2021. Of these, there will be +/- 3 shooting days, different per actor. All catering is provided by me. The shooting days will mainly take place in the Breda area. What is my short film about? It is about a young family that is just having a nice day until Renate (main character) is visited at home by her ex who then kills her husband. Renate takes a blow to the head, wakes up in a hospital where her 'husband' and daughter are called. Then her ex and daughter arrive, leaving the ending a bit of a mystery! What do we offer? - a nice team with a cozy atmosphere! - catering - travel allowance (possibly) - as our school does not sponsor our films, we will have to pay for them ourselves, hence there will be no fees - a corona robbery set Who am I looking for? - blond woman between 24-35 years old - brown-haired male between 24-35 years old - tinted black-haired man between 30-40 years old - girl with curly hair between 5-10 years old If interested, please email [email protected] and maybe I'll see you on set in March!

Talent development in the film world

On Monday and Tuesday, January 4 and 5, we will be running a campaign that we, as a production company, have set up. We at Black Bee Productions are committed to developing young talent, and through this campaign, we want to encourage young talent to submit new film and series ideas and to start making films out of enthusiasm. In short, the concept for the campaign is: Dare to fly. If you just keep dreaming big enough and dare to do it, you can achieve anything. With this, we hope to encourage talent in the film world to submit new ideas. George films his frantic attempts to get as close as possible to the life of an astronaut but fails in his endeavor. Despite his failure, he continues to dream big. Eventually, we end with a shot of George looking at the starry sky in his astronaut suit. In his mind: a real shot of a launch. George looks up and sees a rocket floating through the starry sky. The rocket transitions to the extreme of a pen descending onto paper. A script lies on his desk; at the top of the page it reads: STAR WARS by George Lucas. This, combined with high-pass editing and a motivational voice-over about dreaming big. However, we are facing a small issue because we are financing this with our own contributions. The Film Fund has also indicated that it wants to launch the campaign to the public together, in order to develop even more talent within the Dutch film industry. Since we have a very ambitious plan in place and the budget is not entirely sufficient, given that we are paying for it out of our own pockets, we wish to gather support through this appeal to bring the entire production to a beautiful conclusion and to encourage a great deal of new talent within the Dutch film industry to come up with new ideas and concepts that we can subsequently develop into a refreshing new film or series.
