Actors (30-60 years old) wanted for short fiction film Junior
We are looking for a number of actors. Camera experience is a plus, but not required. Specifically, we are looking for actors for the following roles:
MANAGER (female):
small, speaking role
- Age: 40-55
- Position: Chief Manager
- Core: monitors overview, structure, and decision-making
- Believes in clear responsibilities and formal lines
- Focuses on clarity and process, not on the content of the problem
- Views employees primarily as links within a larger system
- Body language: calm, controlled, confident and goal-oriented
- Tragedy: resolves conflicts by guarding the structure, leaving the underlying human dynamics undiscussed
BASS:
- Age: 50+
- Position: Senior ICT Colleague
- Core: power through distance
- Minimizes problems by making them "not his"
- Uses humor and irony to evade responsibility
- Doesn't take Pleun seriously, though that's true
- Believes that systems should regulate themselves
- Body language: relaxed, leaning, slightly superior
- Tragedy: always remains out of reach
PATRICK
- Age: late 30s, early 40s
- Position: manager
- Core: Tries to be a “good manager,” but avoids making decisions
- Firmly believes in processes, channels, and alignment
- Is genuinely annoyed, but does not dare to express it directly
- Passes on responsibility while thinking he is leading
- Sees Pleun as a talent, but also as a means of execution
- Body language: busy, smiling, slightly defensive
- Tragedy: thinks he does it well, that's why he learns nothing
