Following 2017 and 2018, Romedia Filmproducties is organizing the annual Filmmakers New Year's Drinks in Amersfoort again in 2019. This 3rd edition will be held on Saturday, January 12, and ticket sales have already started via the Facebook event. “The first editions were a great success with a lot of interest, so we expect a lot from this triple,” says organizer Robin de Ridder. During the drinks reception, filmmakers from across the country have the opportunity to network extensively while enjoying a glass of champagne. “In previous editions, we noticed a great need for a joint kick-off to the new year for this community. Both cast and crew always have to keep working to expand or maintain their networks. As a result, the reception also functions as a sort of reunion, given that you speak with people you have probably been on set with before. At the same time, it is also a great way to connect with new makers, so it is quite literally New Year's Eve,” says Robin. The new year will be kicked off festively after the raising of the champagne, followed by the start of various activities. Every effort is being made to ensure guests have the best possible start to the new year.
