Press release Romedia Filmmakers New Year's drink

Following 2017 and 2018, Romedia Filmproducties is organizing the annual Filmmakers New Year's Drinks in Amersfoort again in 2019. This 3rd edition will be held on Saturday, January 12, and ticket sales have already started via the Facebook event. “The first editions were a great success with a lot of interest, so we expect a lot from this triple,” says organizer Robin de Ridder. During the drinks reception, filmmakers from across the country have the opportunity to network extensively while enjoying a glass of champagne. “In previous editions, we noticed a great need for a joint kick-off to the new year for this community. Both cast and crew always have to keep working to expand or maintain their networks. As a result, the reception also functions as a sort of reunion, given that you speak with people you have probably been on set with before. At the same time, it is also a great way to connect with new makers, so it is quite literally New Year's Eve,” says Robin. The new year will be kicked off festively after the raising of the champagne, followed by the start of various activities. Every effort is being made to ensure guests have the best possible start to the new year. This includes informative sessions and entertainment, and as a visitor, you are automatically entered into the race for various lottery prizes. Budgetcam is the main sponsor for this event. Additionally, computers are available for exchanging portfolios, and business cards can be posted on the bulletin board. Everyone active in the film world (or wanting to become so) is welcome. Whether you are an actor, director, composer, editor, production assistant, motion graphic designer, colorist, gaffer, or student, as long as you are passionate about the craft and enjoy socializing with potential new contacts, this get-together might be of interest to you. Time: Saturday, January 12, 2019, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Location: Corderius College Lambert Heijnricsstraat 23 3817 Amersfoort Tickets for the drinks reception can be ordered via: https://www.ticketkantoor.nl/shop/borrel2019 More information in the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/184547735792632/ The Filmmakers New Year's Drinks 2019 is made possible in part by Budgetcam, Corderius College Amersfoort, and Romedia Films, among others.

Enthusiasts wanted for great project in A'dam

film lovers, We will be showing our film on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 December in Amsterdam, with a group of fun and enthusiastic people. We do everything without a budget, but one thing we know for sure: the result will be TOP! The project and the preparations are starting to take shape, but we are still looking for a few people. Who are we still looking for? - Someone for the light (please someone who has their own equipment) - An editor - An older man who wants to take on a supporting role, around 40-50 years old (50+ is also welcome). Experience is not necessary, as long as you are enthusiastic and motivated! And you must be able to do so on Thursday 27 December. - A sound man/woman (preferably also someone who has his own equipment). - Someone who wants to take pictures (so someone who is present on the set on both days and wants to take pictures). Film stills preferably. - An office building in Amsterdam, where we can play in a certain space / room for about 2 hours. - A pet store for the shots (don't ask why!) Experience is not necessary, as long as you are just as enthusiastic as us! And if you do have experience, that's only a bonus! We hope that we will soon find people for these functions, because it promises to be a great project! And of course there is a nice thank you afterwards :). You can always email: [email protected] We have also recently created our own website and Instagram. For more info, email us! And who knows see you soon...
