Internship wanted for production / editing

Hello! My name is Okan Ince, I am 22 years old and I live in Zaandam. I am currently studying Media and Culture at the University of Amsterdam. I am in my third year and am looking for an internship for the period from February related to production or editing, which can complement my education. During my education I learn the different aspects of television and film production, including practical but also theoretical aspects. Together with my fellow students, I made two film projects: a short film and a short documentary. Here I learned several things related to film and television production in a short period of time: I fulfilled roles such as producer, directing, sound and editing. I believe that a production/editing internship can only positively complement my development. I also worked at Albert Heijn DC for four years, where I learned to work well in a team and I followed a teacher training for a year, where I learned to take leadership. I am also a very enthusiastic student and I am always open to new things. In my free time I am always looking for new creative ideas: I write a lot, I like to read and draw a lot of things. I also have basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and I am very good with other Microsoft products, such as Word and Excel. Finally, I master Dutch, English and Turkish at a high level. I am open to internships, where I can further develop my creativity and experience. As I said before, I am looking for an internship for the period of February 2017. This is a full-time internship, where I would sometimes have to go to school, but this concerns a maximum of one day a week. I await your responses! Yours sincerely, Okan Ince PS: If you want to see the film projects, you can always contact me by mail: [email protected].

INVITATION: NBF & IDFA present: HDR Seminar

NBF & IDFA present: HDR Seminar How High Dynamic Range will change your film workflow On Tuesday, November 22, the NBF, in collaboration with IDFA, is organizing a seminar on HDR (High Dynamic Range), a Q&A, and an HDR product display. Visitors can view and compare HDR content, learn about the practical challenges, and discover what is required to shoot and deliver a production in HDR. An HDR screen sells itself – the images look better, fresher, and more convincing! While 3D seemed interesting only because of its novelty, and 4K has not yet lived up to its promise, it is clear that the difference HDR makes is future-proof. Therefore, the question is not whether HDR will change the future of filmmaking, but when. The NBF has asked various industry partners to show visitors which HDR products are already on the market. In this way, visitors can gain a closer understanding of how HDR will influence their workflow, both on set and in post-production. Marcel Gonska (Germany) is one of the key speakers at the seminar. He is the CEO & Founder of WLC and develops & coordinates CalMAN's sales, marketing, and PR activities in Europe and the Middle East. Philippe Vié from Cam-a-lot will talk about the influence of HDR on the work of cameramen. Guy Molin (ICA) is not only the initiator but also the moderator of the evening. Admission is free for NBF members and IDFA pass holders; regular admission is €12.50. You can register via Eventbrite.
