Last July I graduated as an animator at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. During my studies I mainly worked on my own projects, using editing techniques, video images and animation, in which I have control over the entire process as much as possible, from concept to execution, from camera work to finishing. In addition to my work as an autonomous maker, I am looking for assignments. I like to work in After Effects and Illustrator and I get along well with these programs. During my studies it turned out that I am good at coming up with concepts, but I can also make myself useful in collaboration with others. During my internship I worked on leaders, title sequences, company idents, explanation animations and worked as an animation assistant. As a volunteer you get to know the largest documentary festival in the world from the inside, you are jointly responsible for its successful course and you get to know all kinds of new people who, just like you, love documentaries or festivals. In addition, with a minimum of eight shifts you get an employee pass, which allows you to watch as many films as you want outside of your shifts. Volunteers are indispensable for IDFA and work in different teams such as theater staff, car service, ticket sales or as office assistants. We are also looking for room and location managers.
