The acting course of Cinact and Badass pr is a collaboration between professional actor/producer/director Abbas Shirafkan ('Cordon', 'De Bunker', 'Babaï', 'Familie', 'Iron Sky 2', 'De Ridder') and pr consultant/acting coach/journalist/author Dirk Vandereyken ('Fates Worse than Death: Hunter', 'Baour, Strands of Death', 'Achtung: Cthulhu - The Secret War' audioplay & film, Improv-Asion improvshows) from Badass pr , which, among other things, handles the public relations of various film distribution companies.
Most acting courses in Belgium are actually drama courses. However, we focus on acting in front of the camera, with a strong focus on TV and film productions, and improv on an international level. In addition, we learn techniques from different schools of thought, where the slogan is: 'absorb what works for you and is useful'. From our offer you will learn what you feel best about in a casual, cool atmosphere.
In addition, you get lessons from a well-known actor or actress once a month and we work very closely with some of the largest casting agencies in the country. Various casting agents regularly come to watch our course. By also learning where and how you can network and what is expected of you during auditions, you increase your chances of really being able to continue as an actor. Do you also want a professional showreel? Then we have a great film crew available for you! It even records with Alexa cameras or RED Epic cameras, not a still camera.
Our course is open to all levels of experience and ages (from 6 years). All you have to do is send us an email or call us to explain your motivation. Whether you want to get into the film business, take part in shows, learn more about yourself or simply become more socially skilled; there are many reasons to participate! Every now and then we also introduce a discount period, so don't hesitate to ask about it! Each course lasts 2.5 months, but you can string course blocks together and there are also weekly lessons in both Brussels and Antwerp!
