Lynn Peters

All-round make-up & hair artist offered !!!

Dear ladies and gentlemen, My name is Lynn and I am 19 years old, I am currently still following the Make-up and Hair Artist course at ROC Rijn IJssel in Arnhem, I have already gained a lot of experience with previous jobs and internships. I definitely have something up my sleeve! I have my own stuff: makeup case, cape, make-up, brushes, hair products, hair dryers, brushes, hair straighteners, curling irons, hair rollers etc etc. I can apply both a natural base make-up, a classic make-up, a retro make-up (vintage) or even a very extreme make-up if you wish. I can also create special effects, by which I mean, for example, wounds, putting a disease on the face, for example: using latex and wax. For these applications I use rubber makeup and normal fat and aqua makeup. I can also shape the hair well: from a whole bunch of curls to very straight hair, from updo to loose, whatever you want as I mentioned before! I am very flexible, I can function well in a team, I am social and in a good mood, very enthusiastic and passionate and I can handle (high) work pressure well! I also like a professional and pleasant cooperation. I am mainly available on Fridays, weekends and school holidays. During the week I am occasionally available, then a few things have to be arranged with the school, but that is generally no problem at all. Traveling is free for me during the week, but during the weekends I ask for a travel allowance (then free travel is not valid.). I am mainly looking for more paid jobs, I would like to be paid per hour, but we can always discuss that later if there is a possible collaboration. If interested, please feel free to send me an email to: [email protected] I hope to hear from you soon! Yours sincerely, Lynn

May holiday course Vlogging and Docu

AMSTERDAM FILM SCHOOL ORGANIZES MAY HOLIDAY FILM COURSES www.amsterdamfilmschool.com The Amsterdam Film School opens its doors during the May holidays for an intensive course in Video Blogging and Documentary. Under the guidance of an experienced film professional, students learn how to develop an original and surprising concept and translate it into visuals. Times change, and the media change with them. The road to eternal fame used to invariably lead to the world of television, but with the rise of platforms like YouTube, anyone can in principle start their own TV channel. Many vloggers have since found that path as well. Aspiring vloggers who want to follow in their footsteps but lack the skills to record vlogs themselves can turn to the Amsterdam Film School during the May holidays. During the course week, students learn how to develop original and surprising concepts and efficiently translate them into visuals. Students work with their own smartphones, as well as other handheld FHD cameras. They also learn how film editing works and how to add matching music to a video. Students who would like to get acquainted with the craft of documentary filmmaking can also visit the Amsterdam Film School during the May holidays. Under the guidance of a Dutch documentary director, students learn to conduct research, write a script, direct, and edit. Both courses are hands-on; students hold a camera from the very first day. By the end of the week, all students are ready to take their own video out onto the wide web. Premiere and panel talk Another One Opens

Premiere and panel talk Another One Opens - fully improvised feature film On Sunday, April 26, the Dutch premiere of Another One Opens, a fully improvised feature film, will take place. Following the screening, a panel talk will be held with director Jim Libby and several media professionals about the role of improvisation in film and television. The award-winning drama film was created by the Viennese improvisational theater group English Lovers and tells the story of five old, estranged school friends who are reunited after 20 years during a weekend at a remote and mysterious country house. In the course of their happy, though somewhat awkward, reunion, they slowly discover how each of them is trapped in a life that pales in comparison to the life they had envisioned for themselves—and for each other. Before the weekend is over, everyone will have to learn that sometimes you have to close one door before another opens. The film was created without a script, making use solely of the unique storytelling experience of the English Lovers. Improvisation actors who have literally improvised thousands of stories for enthusiastic audiences. Following this is a panel talk on the role of improvisation in film and television. During this panel, director and actor Jim Libby will engage in a conversation with, among others, Ben Silburn (Sony Award winner and host of BBC World) and Jon Rosenfeld (nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on Saturday Night Live). When: Sunday, April 26 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Location: Boom Chicago, Rozengracht 117, 1016 LV Amsterdam Tickets: €10 sold at the door (Students, Cineville, Pathe Unlimited and CJP cardholders: €5) Language: English, not subtitled Trailer: https://youtu.be/XSvYYrscc68
