Feature film course by script coach Ernie Tee
If you have screenwriting experience and time to work hard for a few months, you can become familiar with the step-by-step development of a feature film script during this writing course. You develop your own script within an 'open studio'-like construction. The writing teacher therefore expects that you are familiar with the basic terminology of screenwriting and that you may not be a very experienced, but that you are an advanced writer. Maybe you are already perfectly capable of working on a scenario yourself, but you would like to do this in a group for the stick behind the door or confirmation during better and lesser moments.
In preparation for the first meeting you have put a film plan (max 200 words) on paper. During the rest of the process, you will use this film plan to discuss research, technique and mechanisms, structure, characters, tension, storylines, scenes and dialogues. The craft of screenwriting is paramount. The aim is for a (docu) script of ninety minutes, but a film or episode of a series with a shorter length is also possible.
There is only room for 8 participants in this writing course. The costs for this course are 675 euros. If you want more information or want to find out if this course is for you, please call 020 2600066
