GRÉGOIRE COLIN, SLIMANE DAZI AND LIZZIE BROCHERÉ LEADING ROLES Today the shooting of the new feature film FULL CONTACT by director David Verbeek started on location in Croatia. The leading roles in the English/French feature film are French stars Grégoire Colin (LA VIE RÊVÉE DES ANGES, NÉNETTE & BONI), Slimane Dazi (ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE, UN PROPHÈTE) and up-and-coming talent Lizzie Brocheré (AMERICAN HORROR STORY) cast. International sales are in the hands of the renowned French sales agent BAC films, who will also take care of the French distribution. FULL CONTACT tells the actual story of a drone pilot (Grégoire Colin) who accidentally bombs a school, after which he, driven by guilt, goes in search of the meaning of his life. The script was one of the fifteen selected projects of the prestigious Cannes L'Atelier 2011. David Verbeek makes FULL CONTACT, his sixth feature film. His ultra low budget debut film BEAT was selected in 2004 for the International Film Festival Rotterdam. SHANGHAI TRANCE entered the IFFR's tiger competition, after which the film was selected for various international film festivals and released in China. His third film RU THERE had its world premiere at Cannes' Un Certain Regard. CLUB ZEUS and HOW TO DESCRIBE A CLOUD both had their world premieres at the IFFR, where Verbeek received a 'Return Of The Tiger' award for CLUB ZEUS. FULL CONTACT is produced by Lemming Film in co-production with Nukleus Film (Croatia) and VPRO. The project is supported as Crossing Plus by the Netherlands Film Fund and uses the Croatian HAVC Cash Rebate. Distributor Wild Bunch will release the film in theaters in the spring of 2015.
