Hello, I am currently studying at the VEC course at the Rijn IJssel College in Arnhem. At the moment I am in my third year and during the second period I am looking for a suitable internship address. I am 22 years old and living in Nijmegen. I've been making video and film since high school, and I've gained quite a bit of experience with various assignments. At school and in my free time with my own company I have already made video clips, company film, afterfilms and reports. What I think is important is that you are always creative with your work and try to push boundaries. In the technical field I have experience with different types of cameras, at school we work with Panasonic AG-HMC150 , JVC HM750 and Black Magic cameras, and in my own company I work with a Sony FS700 and a Canon 5D. I also get along well with audio equipment. In the past I have worked with FCP in editing, but at the moment I do everything in Adobe Premiere Pro cs6, but in principle I can also work with FCP. What I hope to learn is how to create good programs/products in a short period of time, and how to deal with meeting deadlines. Furthermore, I think it would be very nice to work in a creative team in which you can learn something from everyone, so that I can take that with me in the future and start up my own projects. That is why I would like to receive a response from you, and I hope to be able to come for an interview. the internship period runs from the beginning of February to the end of July. Lemming co-production BLIND wins Sundance screenplay prize

Frontman De Nits composes the film score This weekend, the Norwegian-Dutch co-production BLIND was awarded the Screenwriting Award at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The feature film debut of Norwegian Eskil Vogt had its world premiere in the World Cinema Dramatic section of the festival and will have its European premiere in early February in the Panorama program of the Berlin Film Festival. The music for the Norwegian-language film was composed by The Nits frontman Henk Hofstede. Producer Derk-Jan Warrink: 'The score aligns seamlessly with the oppressive atmosphere of the film. It is wonderful that the Netherlands Film Fund is offering Henk Hofstede and us the opportunity to participate in such a beautiful international project. The selection of BLIND for Sundance and the Berlinale is the icing on the cake.' Director Eskil Vogt made a name for himself as a screenwriter for Joachim Trier (Oslo August 31st, Reprise). He also wrote the screenplay for his directorial debut, BLIND. The film tells the story of Ingrid, who has just lost her eyesight and retreats into her apartment. There, alone with her husband and her thoughts, her deepest fears and repressed fantasies soon take over. BLIND is produced by Motlys Film (Norway) and Lemming Film and was made with the support of the Netherlands Film Fund. Distributor Cinéart will bring the film to Dutch cinemas in the autumn of 2014.

The One Vision ...

Film and acting talent wanted (18 to 28 years old)

Talented, driven actors and filmmakers (aged 18 to 28) wanted for The One Vision Party. The Ideefix Foundation is organizing the adventurous film project The One Vision Party. 24 emerging film talents will have the opportunity to produce three innovative short films together with seasoned professionals over a period of three months. These films will premiere during the first edition of the Da Bounce Urban Movie Festival (August 15–17, 2014) at the Westergasterrein in Amsterdam. Furthermore, the best film will be awarded the One Vision Talent Award 2014. Talents from all disciplines within the film industry are welcome at The One Vision Party. Together with 23 other participants, you will attend a total of twelve meetings over the course of three months. These meetings are led by acclaimed professionals from the film world and take place at top venues such as the EYE Film Institute and the MC Theater. Participants will be carefully selected based on their experience, ambition, and motivation.
