Go Short Student Campus: Make Your Talent Count!
Financing - Distribution - Promotion - (Co)Production - Presentation & Networking
You're a student or graduate from a film academy in Europe and you're about to make the big leap from the academy to the professional field. You could surely use a toolbox full of tips and tricks of what to do next, couldn't you? That's where we come in with the Go Short Student Campus. We offer you an intensive and full campus program during Go Short - International Short Film Festival Nijmegen.
The Go Short Student Campus brings emerging filmmakers and seasoned film professionals together and offers you a unique and intensive program. The campus focuses on giving you hands-on knowledge about everything that becomes urgent as soon as you leave the academy. Questions that are hardly dealt with at the academy will now be foremost on your mind. How do I finance my (short) film? Where can I find an audience? How can I distribute my film? We will offer master classes, lectures, workshops and panel discussions by the industry's top experts, amongst others Paul Wright and Hannes Vartiainen and Pekka Veikkolainen
The Go Short Student Campus is part of Go Short - International Film Festival Nijmegen. Go Short is a bustling and inspiring festival with 300 short films and over 16,000 visitors and 400 delegates. Here you can mingle with filmmakers, festival programmers, producers and distributors from all over Europe. This is your chance to meet people from the field and ask them all of your questions. In the campus program there will be time reserved to visit the festival, watch films, and meet people. Outside the screening rooms there will be plenty of social events like drinks, parties and performances.
