The family film *Midden in de Winternacht* has been sold under the international title *A ChristMoose Story* to Germany, France, Wallonia, and a number of Eastern European countries. The German distributor KSM Film may release the film in cinemas by Christmas 2014. Given the strong international interest, sales agent Attraction Distribution has high expectations for the upcoming European Film Market during the Berlin Film Festival 2014. President Xiaojuan Zhou: 'We are confident that this charming film for the whole family will be widely sold during the upcoming EFM in Berlin.' Midden in de Winternacht is about ten-year-old Max (Dennis Reinsma) who befriends a talking moose (voiced by Jeroen van Koningsbrugge). The moose, Moos, has fallen through the garage roof just before Christmas and claims that he works for Santa Claus (Derek de Lint). There is just one small problem; Moos has lost Santa! And if he doesn't find Santa soon, no one will get a present this year. Max and his little sister Kiki (Dana Goldberg) decide to help Moos. Will they manage to find Santa in time? Also starring Jelka van Houten, Arjan Ederveen, and Carla Hardy. Midden in de Winternacht is currently showing in Dutch cinemas and will welcome its 200,000th visitor this weekend. My name is Jerry Bouten, born and raised in Venlo (Limburg), with a burning passion for the AV industry for 20 years. I am looking for a part-time or full-time job in this sector focused on camerawork and/or editing. I successfully completed the AP Production (Audio Post-Production) program at Sint Lucas, specializing in Camera. This is a broad course where a lot of attention is paid to camerawork and editing, of course, but also to lighting, sound, and photography. I also completed three six-month internships during this program, and I was offered a contract at this company after completing the final internship, for when I had finished my studies. So, after my training, I worked here for half a year as a cameraman/editor, and I learned a tremendous amount, gained experience, and was involved in all activities. I believe that through my education and work experience, I have laid a strong foundation to continue growing as an all-rounder specializing in Camera, and to further immerse myself in this beautiful, dynamic sector. The feature film WHEN THE FUCKING LENTE KOMT by Danyael Sugawara has been selected for the When East Meets West co-production forum in late January 2014. The forum takes place in Trieste and is organized by the Trieste Film Festival and FVG Audiovisual Fonds in collaboration with EAVE, Eurimages, and MEDIA. 22 projects were chosen from over 200 submissions. WHEN THE FUCKING SPRING COMES is written by Heleen Suer and Danyael Sugawara and will also be directed by the latter. It is a feel-good road film about a seventeen-year-old Polish 'orphan' who goes in search of money and an explanation from her biological parents. This topical subject was already one of the twelve selected projects of the prestigious EKRAN workshop at the Andrzej Wajda Studio in Poland in 2010. After graduating with great success from film school in 2004 with his graduation film THE QUIET ONE, Danyael toured with his film in both Clermont-Ferrand and Busan. Following this, he made the one-night stand LIEFDE, DANK JE WEL and his first feature film ALLES STROOMT in 2010. This film won various awards, including a Golden Calf, the Audience Award, and the White Iris Award for Best European Feature Film Debut in Brussels. WHEN THE FUCKING LENTE COMES is produced by NFI MOTION PICTURES, which was previously responsible for CAN THROUGH SKIN and the feature film CORNEA, the upcoming debut of Jochem de Vries. The project WHEN THE FUCKING SPRING COMES is supported by the Netherlands Film Fund and MEDIA and will be a co-production with both Germany and Poland. The film is expected to be shot in Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands in the winter of 2014.
