Call for participants for the Do It Yourself Animation Days Mon 28 Oct to Fri 01 Nov 2013 at de Brakke Grond For five days, Flemish and Dutch animators collaborate on short productions during the Doe Het Niet Zelf Animation Days at De Brakke Grond. By not doing everything yourself, but rather working together, nothing is impossible. From flying clay extras to 3D technology. At the end of each day at 5:00 PM, there are public previews and masterclasses by Flemish and Dutch animation professionals. The workshop results will be screened on Dropstuff's large urban screens throughout the Netherlands. During Museum Night Amsterdam on November 2, the animations will be on continuous display at de Brakke Grond, and the Golden Waffle will be awarded for the best work. Additionally, the winning work will be screened as the pre-program of the KLIK! Animation Festival at the EYE Filmmuseum. Early registrants from Belgium stand a chance to win one of the limited train ticket & accommodation packages. WHO We are looking for creative participants with experience making stop-motion videos. However, you are also very welcome if you create models, design set designs, have an understanding of storytelling, sound post-production, lighting, or are proficient with 2D or 3D animation software.
