If you want to master Apple's new editing program Final Cut Pro X in a short and intensive setup, then this crash course is for you. Within this crash course you will learn to understand the basic skills of the software package. It is not a substantive editing course. In the practical room, each student has their own Apple computer with Final Cut Pro X installed so that the student can also follow the explanation projected on a large screen on his own screen. This crash course starts with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 participants.

Filming with a drone

Drones are in the news a lot these days and very popular in combination with a camera. Almost every shot you can think of seems to be possible with a drone. But what does it actually involve if you want to use it. That is what this introduction day is about. It is an introduction to using drones in your film. During this workshop you will learn what is and what is not allowed. You will be shown the technique and explained about the different facets that you have to take into account. The teachers have been working on drones for a number of years and they also make them themselves.

Color post-processing isn't just about creating great looks. The most important goal is to 'match' the shots. Making sure that the shots merge seamlessly. This course focuses on both elements. This crash course takes 2 days. Until recently, color post-processing was reserved for few people. The software and associated computer systems were very expensive, but because Davinco Resolve Lite is now available for free, color post-processing has become accessible to anyone with a sturdy editing computer. The course is taught on Davinci Resolve Lite 9 for Mac. We work with keyboard and mouse, so that you can get started at home without additional equipment.

Junior Nuke Compositor looking for work

Dear visitors, As a Compositor I would like to inform you about what I do have done in the visual effects industry lately. During my studies at the Dutch film academy (interactive media and visual effects) I was able to orient myself and delve into the compositing side of a film. film production. After my studies I immediately looked for one job in which I could fulfill this interest. After a short period of several small projects I have been able to join an international company based in the Netherlands as a Junior Nuke Compositor for commercials. In the 8 months that followed I am with both live action and full 3d elements started. My job in the company was to work with a senior taking on the compositing and various commercials to deliver. In these 8 months I have gained experience in completing of projects within a tight schedule and specific wishes of a client. Because of my background in which I worked with maya and various software packages in addition to compositing in Nuke, the collaboration was very nice. During this period I also gained experience with the Autodesk Smoke package to be able to build onlines during the process. I learned a lot during this time and was able to work with great enthusiasm and pleasure in a team with many creative people. However, I am currently looking for work again with new challenges and will I would like to show my skills through my showreel.
