Camjo vocational training

Camjo (Camera Journalist) is a production technique in which one person takes care of the entire development, recording and finishing (self-directing camera person). At Open Studio we like to see this broader than just news reporting: from product presentation to human interest, from oral history to online storytelling. If you want to develop into an all-round and independent program maker, the VAK Camjo training is a good starting point. The VAK Camjo training focuses on the fact that you are simultaneously editor, director, cameraman/woman, soundman/woman, interviewer and editor. Each skill is treated separately, both technically and substantively. Within this training we work with the program Final Cut Pro X during the editing block. Adobe After Effects Extra

If you want to learn the basic skills of the professional Adobe After Effects program in a short and intensive format and you have little or no experience with Adobe Photoshop, then this crash course is for you. You start with a day of Adobe Photoshop, where you learn what you need to work well with Adobe After Effects. In the practical room, each student has their own computer with a recent version of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects installed so that the student can also follow the explanation projected on a large screen on his own screen. This crash course starts with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 participants.

TV presentation - summer academy

Presenting in front of the Camera is much more than just reading a text. During the TV Presentation for the Camera 1 course you will become familiar with the camera and you will become acquainted with different presentation styles. The teachers, Wim van Putten, Pauline van Aken and Marc van Amstel have a radio and TV background at TROS, TV10, SBS6, TMF, MTV and RTV Utrecht! All presentations are recorded on your own DVD. During this course, the basic principles of presenting are covered in various forms of programming, such as: news, interviews, commercials, presentation for children and as a reporter. During the different presentation forms and styles you gradually become more and more familiar with the camera. In addition, text analysis, speech therapy aspects are discussed and, of course, attention is paid to clothing, make-up and directing.

In 2010, I started my training as an All-round Make-up Artist at the ROC of Amsterdam. As a little girl, I was always creative; I preferred spending the whole day coloring and crafting. Another major hobby of mine is music and theater. I later chose to combine my hobbies and make a profession out of it, which means I always enjoy my work. I derive great satisfaction from my work because it is very versatile and I always get the chance to work with creative people. I also love helping brides who want to shine even brighter on that important and special day. Thanks to my 3-year full-time education and the many internships I have completed, I have gained a great deal of experience and am very versatile. My skills extend beyond theatrical makeup and cosmetics; hairstyling, body painting, special effects 3D makeup (injuries, bald heads, characters à la Wendy van Dijk), and hairpieces (wigs, etc.) are also all familiar to me. During my studies, alongside my internships, I also started working as a special effects makeup artist, beautician, and hairstylist in the film, television, music, fashion, and theater industries.
