Finally, finished my education! I may start with the real work in the film world! Of course, I thoroughly enjoyed my HBO course in 'business communication' in Utrecht, but I want more. I want to learn more and gain more practical experience. My name is Lynn van Roij and I am 22 years old. During my education I got to know many different media extensively (print, internet, radio and television), but one medium has always attracted my attention: television. From coming up with a creative concept, to filming, to editing, all aspects appeal to me. My passion lies most with the assembly. Invitation for still studying filmmakers Dear student, M2LIVE is coming again! M2LIVE is a biennial event organized by the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht that is all about young and creative talent. In this context, the M2LIVE film prize 2013 will be held for the fourth time for film makers who are still studying. This event will take place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 January 2013, with the Sunday being entirely devoted to the presentation of the Film Prize. We would like to invite you to submit your film and are looking for films from: - maximum 15 minutes - made by students up to the age of 27 from NL, B, DE Genres: fiction, documentary, experimental, performance and animation. Since 2009 I live in Ghana where I work as a consultant and journalist for a small television station. I advise on management, improve existing programs, devise new programs and give workshops camera journalism. In addition, I make many documentaries, films and short clips with an educational purpose for the people of Ghana. (see my website) I get a lot of responsibility and run large projects on my own. Soon my contract will end and I think it's time to look for the next challenge. I prefer to combine filming and editing, sometimes as a director, sometimes as a 'one-man-band'. I am creative, a hard worker, find everything interesting, patient and resistant to stress. I am looking for a job that challenges me. I like to travel and don't mind if I don't live in the Netherlands.
