SMART Cinema is presenting the first Dutch retrospective of internationally renowned Polish artist Lech Majewski. Famous for writing, directing and shooting his films and videos himself, Majewski also composes their original scores. His imaginative features, based on myths and legends (Angelus and The Garden of Earthly Delights), or on real-life figures (Basquiat and poet Rafal Wojaczek), are distinguished by a unique sensibility which hovers between the absurd and metaphysical and the profane and beautiful. As such, Majewski has earned the reputation for crossing the borders between film and art. Read More
Majewski will attend the festival and introduce his films. On Sunday 14 December he will participate in the panel discussion LA VIE D\'ARTISTE after which his latest work \'Glass Lips\' will debut at SMART Cinema.
