On Monday, October 1, the annual festival edition of the Network Drinks for Film and TV (NBF) will take place at the Winkel van Sinkel in Utrecht during the Netherlands Film Festival. During the drinks reception, a fine selection of the graduation projects from the 2013 cohort of the Netherlands Film and Television Academy will be presented by the students. The film adaptation of Jacques Vriens' most famous children's book already won the Audience Award at the prestigious TIFF Kids Film Festival in Toronto in April. In July, the Scandinavian production company Cinenord purchased the remake rights, and financing for this production is now well underway.
