Motivated girl is looking for work in film/tv production

Hello, I am Jennifer Schenk, I am 24 years old, and I have completed the Communication Science program at the University of Amsterdam. I always wanted to do something in television or advertising, and that is why I chose this program, because it offered me many different career paths. Now that I have finished that education, I am certain that a job in film or television production is really what I would like to do for the rest of my life. I have attended many different shoots in the past, because I have always found it very interesting how a production is made and how the final product is actually broadcast on television. A job in production really appeals to me because no day is the same, your tasks are very diverse, and you don't sit behind a desk all day. Last year, I worked on the production of a short film for the film festival. During this time, I gained extensive experience in all aspects of the production process, including devising the script, scouting locations, liaising with suppliers and extras, creating call sheets, arranging catering, and actually helping out on set. I am highly motivated, perform well both in a team and independently, do not have a 9-to-5 mentality, and hold a B driver's license. I am very precise and patient and always give it my all. I can also perform well under heavy time pressure and can adapt well to unexpected situations or events. I would really like to hear from you if you have a suitable job for me! Kind regards, Jennifer Schenk

Patatje War wins ECFA Award for Best European Film

This weekend, Patatje Oorlog was awarded the European Children's Film Association (ECFA) Award for Best European Film at the BUFF Film Festival in Malmö. Nicole van Kilsdonk's film was nominated alongside five other European films, including Blijf! by Lourens Blok. The European Children's Film Association Award is presented at various European youth film festivals (including Giffoni, Cine-Jeune, and Berlinale), where the jury awards the best European film in competition. BUFF – the International Children and Young People's Film Festival – in Malmö was founded in 1984 and is one of the most important European film festivals for youth films. From the jury report: 'The winning film portrays a girl's inner conflict with sharp humor. The screenplay is sensitive and surprising and tells the story consistently, without losing touch with the audience.' Patatje Oorlog had its world premiere in October 2011 as the opening film of the anniversary edition of Cinekid, where the film was chosen as Best Dutch Children's Film. Earlier this year, Patatje Oorlog screened in the official selection of the Generation Kplus program at the Berlinale (Berlin International Film Festival). The film is directed by Nicole van Kilsdonk and produced by Lemming Film in co-production with NCRV and A Private View. The film was made with support from the Netherlands Film Fund, the Flanders Audiovisual Fund, and the CoBO Fund. The screenplay was written by Lotte Tabbers and is based on the award-winning book *Een Kleine Kans* by Marjolijn Hof.
