Receive a free Audition Video from us

For a unique concept in the Netherlands, we are looking for actors, actresses, stage artists, and presenters who could use additional visual material. We are Auditievideo, a unique company established to help performers find work. As you probably know, it is not easy for actors to get cast in a film or television series; this applies to both aspiring and established actors. Actors are often rejected because they lack experience in the genre or the type of character. You, however, are convinced that you can do it; you just can't show it yet. Until now... With us, this is indeed possible! We do this in a way that is unique in Europe: by having the actor play a number of diverse characters and creating a powerful scene from them—an audition video. The audition is posted on our site, and you receive a link that you can forward to casting directors, producers, and directors. This way, they get a clear picture of the characters you can play. Auditievideo was started for an idealistic reason; we are here to help actors find the many different roles the Dutch film and television world has to offer. After all, there is plenty of talent; it just needs to be discovered. Method The moment you make an appointment with Auditievideo, you will receive a link to our Sides (short script snippets) Database. Here, we offer a wide range of genres, characters, and roles that you can perform on camera, and to make the experience even better, we also add music to your scene. You can also choose to perform in front of a green screen; we will add a suitable background to your scene during post-production, giving the viewer an even better feel for your performance. Do you have some Sides of your own that you would like to use? That is, of course, allowed too! However, please let us know in advance. After the shoot of the audition video, we edit your performance into a polished whole and post it on our website. Within a week, you will receive a link to your audition video, which you can then forward to casting directors, producers, and directors. This gives them a clear picture of your range as a performer.

NBF network drink 30 Jan - Online platforms for makers

Monday, January 30 is the last Monday of the month, so it is time again for the first NBF networking drinks of the new year! Everyone working in the film or TV industry is welcome to drop by SMART Project Space/LAB111 for drinks, a delicious dinner, and the substantive program. Program During the NBF networking drinks in November, it was noted that the possibilities for offering a (film) project online are developing at a rapid pace. Therefore, this month will focus on two different online platforms where creators can showcase their projects. A presentation will be held on Ximon, the Dutch platform for Dutch films, documentaries, television dramas, and high-quality international films. EU1, the platform by and for professional film and television makers, will also present itself. This new initiative offers an online space where creators can display their work—films, series, documentaries, etc.—but also a place where they can get a film or television project produced in collaboration with the Netherlands through a pitch. The focus this evening will be on the practical aspect: can you showcase your project on these platforms, and what steps do you need to take? Following this, a short film will be screened that has never been seen anywhere before and is therefore highly suitable for the initiatives discussed. Dinner deal The LAB111 restaurant is offering an attractive and affordable dinner deal especially for the NBF networking drinks: for €17.50, you get dinner including a drink.
