Video wordt steeds vaker ingezet als onderdeel van (zakelijke) communicatie, onderwijsmateriaal en internetsites. Een home-film maken kan bijna iedereen, maar een verhaal opbouwen en vertellen in beeld en geluid vereist basiskennis die videomakers zonder opleiding vaak missen. Ook wordt er in de audiovisuele branche steeds vaker van videomakers en regisseurs verlangd dat ze zelf de camera bedienen en ook de montage voor hun rekening nemen. Digital Video Producer is een parttime opleiding welke zes maanden duurt. Interactive Media Interactive Media is a part-time program that is also included as a module in the full-time Multimedia Engineer program. The program is preceded by Web Development and Web Development Advanced. Programming is an important part of the course. The basics of JavaScript from the previous module are explored in greater depth, and you learn to write your own functions. Flash website created by CMM student Additionally, Flash and ActionScript will be covered in greater depth. PHP will also be discussed, and we will look at the use and creation of CMS systems. You will learn how to build an advanced/dynamic website and how to integrate it with (X)HTML, XML, and the web. Career opportunities The possibilities for a student with the Interactive Media certificate are very diverse. A few examples: Freelancer You possess the basic knowledge to create simple websites. As a freelancer, you will be responsible for designing and developing them yourself. Webmaster As a webmaster, you manage and maintain a website. Almost every company has a website these days, so you can work in a wide variety of industries. Webdesign en Web Development Advanced Web Development Advanced is een parttime opleiding die tevens als module is opgenomen in de fulltime opleiding Web Engineer en MultiMedia Engineer. De opleiding wordt vooraf gegaan door Web Development en kan worden vervolgd met Interactive Media. Je brengt in deze opleiding de in Web Development behandelde stof verder in praktijk. Hierbij worden de reeds bekende onderwerpen audio, video, GUI-design en projectplanning verder uitgediept. Verder maak je kennis met de wereld van 3D-modelling en -animatie. Een belangrijk onderdeel van deze opleiding is het toevoegen van dynamische content aan het web. CSS, Flash en Quicktime komen aan bod en er wordt gestart met Javascript. Na afronding van de opleiding ben je in staat om een website te bouwen die door CSS vorm gegeven wordt en maak je je pagina's met je kennis van Javascript nog dynamischer. Je leert hoe je in Flash een design kan maken en hoe je dat design integreert in je webpagina.
