Important website for film professionals renewed

Filmstart.nl, the largest website for the film world in the Netherlands, launched its improved homepage with a new design last weekend. The revamped version of the well-known starting point for the film industry provides a clear overview of a number of essential film and TV platforms. In addition, the site developers implemented various features of Filmpeople.nl, the online network of Dutch filmmakers, which Filmstart had also previously joined. "We have made adjustments to the design to better accommodate all the innovations of recent years. At the same time, we have kept the tried-and-tested formula intact and changed little about the concept," says the project manager. "Visitors can use FIlmpeople services: read film news, consult the guide, and post messages on the various FIlmpeople platforms." Film Industry Guide In addition, Filmstart.nl has separated the Filmstart Industry Guide, launched earlier this year, from its own Filmstart.nl homepage to make navigation within Filmstart's expanding content more transparent. The guide will thus continue under its own name: the Film Industry Guide (FIG) at the URL www.filmindustryguide.nl. Filmstart now primarily serves as a homepage again, which is also the purpose for which the site was founded 10 years ago. About Filmstart Filmstart has been the most popular place for Dutch film and TV makers on the Internet since 1999. The site aims to promote communication for film professionals via the internet.
