Studio Bromet

Reporting Level 2

Course: Reporting Level 2 starts September 10! In this course, the focus is primarily on the content side of program development and less on the technical side. During the execution of the "Alles te Koop" assignment, various aspects of program development are covered. Setup The course begins with a research lesson, after which you get to work finding a case for the item you are going to film. Next, you will have an interviewing lesson, in which Frans Bromet teaches you the fundamentals of interviewing. After filming, a content editing lesson follows, where you learn how to build a story: the introduction of the subject, the narrative arc, and the conclusion. Throughout the course, your progress is continuously evaluated on an individual level. In this evaluation, you discuss the choices you made at various points during the production process. What went well? Where can improvements be made? Finally, there is a viewing session, during which you review and discuss your item with your fellow students and with Frans. Goal After completing this course, you will be able to create a video portrait entirely independently. Target group The course is intended for people who already have experience making reports and want to further develop themselves as camera journalists. The course aligns well with the Reportage Making - Level 1 course. We recommend taking the video editing course first if you have never edited before, as some experience with Final Cut Pro is a requirement for this course. Duration: 4 days Course Dates: Saturday 10 and 17 September, 1 and 8 October Time: 10:00 - 17:00 Cost: €995 (excl. VAT) Register: Email [email protected] Tel: 020 436 00 53 We are giving away a free DVD! Visit the website www.studiobromet.nl, click on Free DVD, and request the DVD 'Course at Studio Bromet'.
