Studio BROMET - Reporting Course Level 1

REPORTING COURSE - LEVEL 1 starts September 10th! The course starts with an explanation of basic camera and sound technology. You will be taught what to pay attention to while shooting - such as the frame, light and backlight. You then get started with the first camera assignment in which you immediately put the acquired theoretical knowledge into practice. After this there is a more extensive assignment (camera, interview & editing), in which you will do a number of street interviews. After an introductory lesson in Final Cut Pro, you edit the material you shot yourself. You will receive help from an editor, so that you have your first video after the introduction course. During this course you will become acquainted with camera, sound, interview technique and video editing. After completing this course you will be able to independently make a simple report. This course is especially for beginners: people who want to orient themselves on the genre of reportage. These were both studio and ENG programs. I worked as a producer at JONG, 40 Days Without Sex, 3Doc and 3 on stage. In addition, I have done various separate (stand alone) projects. From Wedding Planner to Item Direction and from organizing a birthday surprise party including lip dub with 60 day guests to accompanying Carice van Houten during the Rembrandt Awards. Stephen King film adaptation Stopover on NFF

A new Dutch film adaptation of Stephen King's work is a reality. Director Jan van Gorkum (27, from Loon op Zand) bought the rights to the short story Rest Stop a year ago for the symbolic sum of 1 Dollar, and the short film Tussenstop is now the end result. The film is a so-called Dollar Baby, a well-known initiative by Stephen King, through which he offers aspiring filmmakers the opportunity to adapt his short stories. Stopover is about a man who makes a stop at a restroom along a highway during a nighttime drive. There, he witnesses a violent argument. The man hesitates about whether or not to intervene, while the argument spirals increasingly out of control. The main roles are played by Yorick Zwart, Ellik Bargai, and Guus Boswijk. The film will premiere to the public at the Netherlands Film Festival in September and has been selected for the Debut Competition at the festival.
