The film DO NOT TOUCH MY CHILDREN has won the Grand Audience Award at the Stoney Brook Film Festival (near New York). Actress Karina Smulders won the Outstanding Performance Award. Several distributors have expressed interest in releasing the film in America, just like BRIDE FLIGHT. There was a standing ovation lasting several minutes, and people stood in thick lines to share how deeply a mother's struggle to get her kidnapped children back had touched them. The film is based on the true story of Janneke Schoonhoven. In the Netherlands, it was the most-watched TV film ever. The film was directed by Ron Termaat, produced by Rene Huybrechtse and Paul Ruven for Talent United, in co-production with Brigitte Baake (KRO) and Jeanine Hage (COBO). My name is Jimmy van der Vos I am a fourth year Media & Entertainment Management student at Inholland University of Applied Sciences. Here a great interest arose for making film and TV. Subsequently, through various projects and minors, I started to delve into this and gained the necessary experience in this way. For example, I directed two short films and for school assignments I shot and directed several items and a TV program. I'm looking for an internship from September. It's about an internship of about four to five months, in which I can apply everything I've learned in practice and of course gain even more experience. I prefer to be involved in the creative process, directing and editing. I myself am a creative person and I can work well in a team as well as independently. I am also communicative, stress-resistant and proactive. I also have experience with video and audio equipment and 'Final cut' pro.

Camjo (Camera Journalist) is a production technique in which one person takes care of the entire development, recording and finishing (self-directing camera person). At Open Studio we like to see this broader than just news reporting: from product presentation to human interest, from oral history to online storytelling. If you want to develop into an all-round and independent program maker, the Camjo Training is a good starting point. The Camjo Training focuses on the fact that you are simultaneously editor, director, cameraman/woman, soundman/woman, interviewer and editor. Each skill is treated separately, both technically and substantively.
