The trailer for the film "Iemand aan de deur" has been online since last week. The production is an attempt to make a stylish, Hollywood-style thriller with as little money as possible. The film is about a boy who is sitting at home alone during an emergency. With the windows and doors closed, a mother and her daughter suddenly ring his doorbell. Yesterday, the website of the Dutch Association of Cinema Editors was launched. The Dutch Association of Cinema Editors, founded on April 27, 2011, is an association of and for film editors, modeled after existing professional guilds such as the ACE and the NSC. To become an active member, one must be able to demonstrate five years of active service as the lead editor of high-quality long-form film and/or television productions. Quite a strange festival, that Moscow Film Festival we attended with GANGSTERBOYS. Normally you watch films. But this time, a Russian blonde made us go along, first in a limousine with disco lights across Red Square, and then shooting with Kalashnikovs and other weapons. Really? Just watch the bizarre YouTube video titled Shooting Guns at Filmfestival (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mA5TVYYFAjs); there you see all the directors and producers not discussing film, but shooting with all kinds of precision weapons. Afterwards, we had to drink a lot of vodka from a large barrel with soldiers in an army tent. If you like things a bit weird, this Film Festival is highly recommended.
