A reporter is indispensable for almost every program. Together with a camera crew, you travel far and wide to uncover the best footage and information for the viewer. Whether it is for a local broadcaster or a national program, a reporter wants to stick their nose into everything and, of course, be front and center! After all, a reporter is the window to the outside world. Naturally, the program makers are constantly looking for new reporters. You can't just pick someone off the street. Simply because they do not have the time and/or money to train people to become reporters, no matter how much they would like to. Therefore, they are continuously looking for people who have some training in the field of reporting. The TVCollege offers you that opportunity through a program that provides you with a comprehensive overview and prepares you for your future as a reporter. During the training, the following topics will be covered, among others: - General explanation of reporting - Preparation for the report - On location as a reporter (appearance, interview, position next to the camera, angle, collaboration with camera crew, microphone usage) - various forms of reporting (news, human interest, background) - various circumstances on location (line-up, produced, press conference, unwanted) Upon completion of the training, the participant will be familiar with the various aspects involved in the profession of 'reporter'. He/she will be familiar with the tools required for a television report. The participant knows the principles of reporting and knows how to apply them.
