Whether it is for a local broadcaster or a national program, a reporter wants to stick their nose into everything and, of course, be front and center! After all, a reporter is the window to the outside world. Naturally, the program makers are constantly looking for new reporters. You can't just pick someone off the street. On May 19, 20, and 21, 2011, the first edition of the Film&Science Amsterdam festival will take place at NEMO. A lively dialogue between film and science! The festival offers a varied program featuring scientific and creative talent from France, the Netherlands, and other countries. The Lumière Cinema hosts numerous screenings, conversations with filmmakers, workshops, and lectures. With speakers including Véronique Kleiner, Hans Fels, Redmond O'Hanlon, and David Lentink. In a number of intensive discussion rounds, filmmakers discover the strengths and weaknesses of their projects and get to know other makers and producers.
