Official trailer of Rabat online

Today, the official trailer for RABAT was presented. RABAT is the debut film by Habbekrats, starring Nasrdin Dchar (Oumi, Maria Goos, among others), Marwan Chico Kenzari (Loft, Toneelgroep Amsterdam), and Achmed Akkabi (Sterke Verhalen), and will be showing in Dutch and Belgian cinemas starting June 9. RABAT is a road film that takes the viewer on the journey of three friends, Nadir (Nasrdin Dchar), Abdel (Achmed Akkabi), and Zakaria (Marwan Chico Kenzari). When Nadir is suddenly forced to drive his father's old taxi from Amsterdam to Rabat, his two best friends invite themselves along. The journey takes the trio through the European landscape to the Moroccan capital. New worlds, encounters along the way, and Nadir's secret travel goal put their friendship under increasing pressure as they get closer to Rabat. The film was produced by Habbekrats in collaboration with Fei Productions, TopNotch, Dutch Media, and Benelux Film Distributors. About Habbekrats: Music lovers know Habbekrats because, as video clip makers, they have been surprising us for years with unforgettable clips for (hip-hop) hits by artists such as Duvelduvel, De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, The Partysquad, Pete Philly & Perquisite, Opgezwolle, The Opposites, Dio, and Flinke Namen, garnering millions of views on YouTube. These have certainly not been the only projects since Habbekrats began in 2004, but they do reveal an affinity with the new Netherlands. In addition to music videos, Habbekrats was responsible for short films, documentaries, advertising campaigns for Hi, MTV, Asics and Het Parool, among others, the bestseller 'New Kids Turboboek' and the 'New Kids School Planner 2011/2012'.
