Assess film idea.
Hello all,
I have an idea for a film and was wondering if you could give your opinion. Here it comes:
Logline:
It becomes impossible for an 18-year-old girl to touch anyone anymore. When she does, a chill runs down her spine. Half an hour after that shiver, the person she last touched dies.
Synopsis:
When a girl graduates, she says goodbye to her friends. She gives her best friend a hug and suddenly feels a chill run down her spine. When she comes home that evening, she sees on the news that the same boy has died in a car accident. Several similar incidents occur and eventually her father reveals that the same thing happened to her mother, who committed suicide long ago. The girl tries to distance herself from the one she loves, but when finally her boyfriend can no longer cope with her absence and kisses her, she feels that same shiver again. The boy will die within half an hour. The girl and her father try to save the boy, but the situation seems hopeless. The girl is about to follow her mother's example, but then her father reveals that her mother did not commit suicide: When it became known that she was the cause of many suspicious deaths, she was taken by the government for experiments. A few days later he found his wife hanged in the kitchen. They had made it look like suicide to cover their tracks. The girl decides not to commit suicide and they manage to save him. The next day she visits her mother's grave. She prays for a solution, but suddenly she feels a shiver again and she is shocked. She rushes home to avoid anyone getting hurt, but is grabbed and brutally dragged into a van. In the next scene we see her hanging in the kitchen. The father discovers her, just as he had previously discovered his wife.
