I am actively looking for a new challenge. I am very enthusiastic, a hard worker, and I learn quickly. My name is Joan de Jong. I graduated from InHolland University of Applied Sciences in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Media and Entertainment Management. I specialized in television there and, among other things, produced my own documentary, from concept to editing. I did an internship at the TROS program VERMIST, where I was primarily involved in production. My tasks there included: archiving footage, creating schedules and scripts for the live broadcast, arranging camera crews and editing, arranging Dutch celebrities for the telephone team, setting up segments and organizing everything surrounding them, and welcoming guests. I worked as a production assistant at TELEAC/NOT schooltv on the program HUISJE BOOMPJE BEESTJE. For this, I also arranged filming days and archived footage, and I worked as a runner in the studio for a few days. I also worked as a costume designer for a month at FOURONEMEDIA on the program DE CO-ASSISTENT, and I worked in the Costume department for STAGE ENTERTAINMENT, the musical JOSEPH. In 2009, I took on some projects outside the television world. Among other things, I organized a number of private parties and weekends commissioned by friends and acquaintances. I also helped with the production of several student films. Earlier this year, I worked as a producer at NEW CONTENT MEDIA, the program LIFESTYLEXPERIENCE.TV on RTL5. There, I also handled the online editing and wrote the newsletter. My most recent project was for GOEROE POST. The Camera Techniques - Specialization course starts on Saturday, April 16, 2011! As a cameraman, you have a great responsibility. The Level 2 course offering is for people who already have experience making reports and who wish to develop their skills further. In this course, the focus is primarily on the content side of program production and less on the technical side. During the execution of the assignment, various aspects of program production are covered. The course begins with a Research lesson, after which you get to work finding a case for the item you are going to film. Following this, you will have a lesson on Interview Techniques, in which Frans Bromet teaches you the fundamentals of interviewing. After filming, a lesson on Content Editing follows, where you learn how to structure a story: the introduction of the subject, the narrative arc, and the conclusion. Throughout the course, your progress is continuously evaluated on an individual level. In this evaluation, you discuss the choices you made at various points during the production process. What went well? Where can improvements be made? Finally, there is a public viewing session where you view and discuss your item with your fellow course participants.
