Reportage Production Course Level 2 In this course, you will learn to independently create a video portrait, from the initial idea to the editing. The focus is primarily on the content side: how do you tell a story? All aspects of making a reportage are covered. Course structure: You will create a portrait of someone offering something for sale online. You begin with a research lesson in which you look for a subject for your report. Following this, you receive a lesson in interview techniques, where Frans Bromet teaches you the fundamentals of interviewing. After filming, a lesson in content editing follows, where you learn how to build a story: the introduction of the subject, the narrative arc, and the conclusion. The evaluation of your progress is conducted on an individual level. During the evaluation, you discuss the choices you made at various points during the production process. What went well? What could be improved? Finally, there is a public viewing session where you watch and discuss your item with your fellow students. Goal: After completing this course, you will be able to create a video portrait entirely independently. Target audience: The course is intended for people who already have experience making reports and want to further develop themselves as camera journalists. The course aligns well with the Reportage Making - Level 1 course. We recommend taking the Final Cut Pro - Level 1 course first, as experience with Final Cut Pro is a requirement for this course.
