SUBMIT YOUR FILM BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1 FOR THE NORTHERN AMATEUR FILM FESTIVAL! The Northern Amateur Film Festival is a festival for non-professional filmmakers and is part of the Northern Film Festival in Leeuwarden. The Northern Amateur Film Festival offers a stage for amateur filmmakers on which they can show their films to other filmmakers and film enthusiasts! There are three categories for which you can submit videos: - young people (up to 19 years) - amateurs (anyone who is not involved with film professionally or through training) - audiovisual students (anyone following a film-related course) For the Northern Amateur Film Festival on November 13, 2010 we are again looking for new creative films of maximum 20 minutes. Do you want to show your film on a big screen during a film festival? Then send your film with a registration form to the Northern Amateur Film Festival before September 1, 2010! Starting presenter with experience is looking for fun and educational assignments. Presenting is my passion. Ever since I was a child, I have dreamed of one day presenting apple cores. This dream never went away. I have almost completed my Marketing Management studies and now it is time for me to pursue my dream. I am looking for fun but also educational assignments. For example: trade fair presentations, presentation at festivals, fashion shows, events, television programs, school projects, commercials, voice over assignments. I now have some experience with corporate films, commercials, presenting events, news items and some other assignments. I also worked for a while at Omroep Arnhem as a presenter of "What does the Arnhemmer think" and I presented a pilot of "Who knows what". Surinamese film world in motion

The Surinamese television program I-WRITE is approaching its denouement. Work has been underway in Paramaribo on 5 short Surinamese films for over 10 weeks. During these weeks, the Surinamese community has had the opportunity to write a script for a short film. Jury members, including Borger Breeveld, have selected 5 scripts from all submissions to be filmed. A series of casting days determined which actors and actresses get to act in the films. What is remarkable about this is that the choice was made for new and young talent instead of the established order. The actors and actresses were selected by the general public via SMS voting. The film shoots are already in full swing. With the arrival of Suriname's newest cinema, TBL Cinemas, young actors and actresses have the chance to admire themselves on the big screen.
