The film acting course is for people who have some acting experience and want to focus mainly on playing in films and/or drama productions for TV. The minimum age for this training is 18 years.

Learning to act at film level: in this course the emphasis is on acting in front of the camera. Golden Calf winner Karim Traïdia works towards beautiful, cinematic scenes in twelve lessons. During the lessons, scenes are recorded with a camera.
Together with you, Karim will search for the purpose of your character and the truth of a scene. You explore the development and transformation of your character through the word, gesture, emotion and silence. Key concepts in the lessons of this acclaimed director are listening and focusing.
Lecturer
Karim Traïdia is a Dutch-Algerian director who has lived and worked in the Netherlands since 1980. In 1990 he completed the Dutch Film and Television Academy (NFTA). Karim Traïdia is a big name in the film world with films such as Island guests and The Polish bride, with which he won a Golden Calf.
