During the May holidays, there are two special workshops at Filmhuis Den Haag. STARRING..MR. BEAR, On Sunday, May 2, children can bring their favorite stuffed animal to Filmhuis Den Haag and bring it to life in an animated film. They will invent their own story in Desmond's fairytale forest (from the film Desmond and the Swamp Monster/ 5+) and turn their stuffed animal into a real film star. Together with the workshop leaders, they will take individual photos in which the scenery and the stuffed animal move; all the photos put together form a real film! If the children enjoy it, they can go straight into the film after the workshop (which starts immediately at 3:00 PM). Sunday, May 2 from 1:00 PM - 2:45 PM / 4+ / €15 WANTED....MASKED FILM HERO(INE) On the last Sunday of the holidays, children can become masked film heroes in their own animated film. The entire workshop room is transformed into a film set; a beautiful backdrop is created from existing furniture and objects, in which they play the leading roles themselves. Stuck with your characters or want to get more out of it? Experienced relationship counselor & coach with scenario background, helps to create depth in your characters. During the workshop, attention will be paid to the complex psychological structure of characters that have to develop in a very short period of time, especially in film. In a small group we work in six meetings on what your characters have to solve in their inner conflict to get to the climax of the film. Among other things, we look at: -What is the real core of their personal (inner) conflict? -What inner psychological strategy drives them? -What ways of thinking work against the character? -What is the biggest psychological block they have to overcome?
