ANIMATIONLAB is an initiative of AKV|StJoost and takes place on March 25 during the International Film Festival Breda. During this meeting, AKV|St.Joost presents the new program: PROFESSIONAL MASTER ANIMATION. This one-year post-graduate program has been developed in collaboration with the NIAF and starts in September 2010*. For this occasion, the leading artist and character designer FONS SCHIEDON has been asked to create a to give a presentation of his work. The Utrecht collective MONOBANDA is also giving a presentation during Animationlab. Monobanda makes games that take place on the border between the virtual and the tangible world. With their innovative projects, they have already won many awards, such as the Gouden Impuls and the Amsterdam Creative Award.
