LAI
Mac OS X Server v10.6 for SMBs.
With the introduction of the Mac mini Server (Apple), it also seems to be becoming increasingly easy for SMEs to make the switch to the Apple (server) platform.
For small businesses without their own system administrator, this hardware and software offers a user-friendly alternative. However, installing and managing a Mac OS X Server v10.6 requires specialist knowledge, especially in a business environment. Nobody wants to be confronted later with problems that could have been prevented in principle.
LAI, the training institute for IT professionals, has set up a two-day course on Mac OS X Server v10.6, aimed at SMBs. Students learn from an Apple-certified teacher how to efficiently set up and manage a server. For example, configuring an e-mail server, websites, iChat server, Wikis and Blogs is discussed. It also discusses creating and managing users and shared folders.
The Mac OS X Server v10.6 course for SMEs will take place in Schiedam on April 28 and 29. Costs are € 1050,- ex. VAT. Knowledge and experience with Mac OS X Server is not required. However, one must have at least one year of experience with Mac OS X. Students can ask the teacher questions by email up to one month after the end of the training.
