HAFF Masterclass: From concept to storyboard 2009
For the fifth time in a row, the Holland Animation Film Festival is organizing the masterclass From Concept to Storyboard. This masterclass offers young filmmakers the unique opportunity to take their film ideas to the next level, with the goal of developing six strong storyboards for short animated films.
In this masterclass, participants develop a concept for a short animated film into a full-fledged storyboard. The young filmmakers will be intensively guided by internationally renowned animators. This year's masters are: Gil Alkabetz (Trim Time, 2002, Morir De Amor, 2004), Richard Goleszowski (Creature
Comforts: Is There Anyone Out There?, 2003, Shaun the Sheep, 2007) and Mark Baker (The Hill Farm, 1988, Jolly Roger, 1998).
If you are interested in participating in the masterclass and would like more information, please register via [email protected].
>> Deadline: August 1, 2009
The masterclass takes place on August 28, September 11, October 9 and 30, and during the festival on November 7. A contribution of €750 is requested for participation in the masterclass.
The masterclass is made possible in part by the Netherlands Film Fund and the Binger Filmlab.
