Elidoor video-media is a company that focuses on producing art, culture, informational, and promotional films. A defining characteristic of my films is their social engagement.
I usually work with my own equipment following the "one-person shoot-edit-author" principle; activities such as scriptwriting, directing, camera work, editing, and post-production are handled by myself. Where necessary or desirable, I collaborate with other professionals. Advantages of this working method include great flexibility and a personal approach.
During the filmmaking process, I try to offer the person as much space as possible to tell their own story. I also make use of long shoots from the same viewpoint. In this way, I try to capture the pace, the calm, and the silence, thereby accentuating the contemplation and the reflection. Every movement in the frame is emphasized as a result. This creates a 'micro-drama' where the focus is on experiencing a situation, not on describing it. During filming, I therefore pay special attention to the composition: the perspective lines, the colors in the surroundings, the lighting, and the relationship between the person and the environment.
